Burgh Castle Almanac Timetable April 2018 – April 2019

Sessions will mostly be on Tuesdays from 10am to 2pm.

    • Meeting at Burgh Castle Village Hall to familiarise all with venue. Walk to Fort
  • Introduction to Burgh Castle Fort: guided tour.
An opportunity to meet other people involved in the project and find out where the meetings will take place.

 

We will introduce the  concept of photo surveying. We will establish set points where photos will be taken at each monthly visit.

Meet Norfolk Archaeological Trust Director Caroline Davison, Coordinator Laura Drysdale and Support Worker Tod Sullivan.

Evaluation Research questionnaire for participants who want to be part of the research programme.

The photographic survey technique will focus on the leaning section of wall at the s-w corner, to monitor whether it changes (it shouldn’t do!) and the series will be part of the final exhibition.

Explore the museum with a session at the end for downloading the images taken on the site visit, setting up folders. Meet Manager Colin Stott and work with Ian Brownlie on visual responses.
